" French 1777 An IX Cadet Musket"
A French Napoleonic period 1777 AN IX cadets musket. The lock plate has a manufacture’s mark of “Manufacture Imp De St Etienne” and there is a liege proof mark to the barrel. Good working action, retaining its correct ram rod. The musket is approximately 1/3 the size of an adults version. Rare to see any cadet muskets of this period.
