The forms emerge from a dense painterly application, articulated in textured layers that highlight the contrasts between shaded and illuminated areas. The base of the composition is occupied by a rocky plateau rendered in ochre and brown tones, with modeling achieved through overlapping brushstrokes. The peaks rise upward and are rendered in a range of browns and yellows, while the uniform, clear sky frames the vertical structure of the mountain range. The artist’s signature and date appear in the lower right corner.
