An elegant Italian walnut chest of drawers from the early 18th century. Crafted from walnut and pre-burl walnut with inlays and fillets, this piece is a testament to 18th-century Italian cabinetmaking.

Chest of drawers made of walnut and pre-burl walnut, featuring three large stacked drawers on the front.
The rectangular top features a solid surface inlaid with a geometric pattern of interlocking rhombuses, with chamfered, mixed-line angles. The front of the three drawers is veneered with pre-burl and features two panels framed by fillets with veneer of the same wood species in different shades. Each drawer is fitted with two handles, shaped with contoured grips.
The sides feature the same geometric inlay patterns as the top.
The structure rests on a projecting base with shaped molding, supported by front legs carved in a volute style with a scroll motif and shaped carving.
