18th Century Regency Period Chest Of Drawers
We are offering for sale this superb 18th century Regency period chest of drawers in veneered wood, covered with a turquoise red marble. Three rows of drawers, the top row being divided into three drawers, two species were used: rosewood for the central part of the decoration and the perimeter framing this central part in rosewood, all separated by two-tone fillets. The shape is of course tomb-like, bronze ornamentation all in gilding, keyholes, falls on the uprights, handles and bronzes finishing the feet going to hang with the falls of the uprights. Truly a beautiful piece of furniture, leaving Maison.(E25)
