Ww1 French "tn" Gas Goggles
French First World War TN gas goggles. Introduced in the later part of 1915, would have been accompanied with a face 'tampon' worn over the nose and mouth. The exterior of the mask is coated in a black rubber type material, which is quite brittle and shows some cracking as is often the case. The interior is fleece lined with cotton ties to either side and elastic strap to secure to the wearer's face. Overall in good condition with both celluloid eyepieces intact. A rare piece of Great War gas protection.
