Mino Province. Tenmon era (1532-1555). Mumei. Kanenori 2nd gen attribution. Mounted in shirasaya the blade measures 63.1 cm (2 saku and 1 sun) with a total length of 92 cm, with its black lacquered scabbard 102 cm. Shinogi-zukuri type, the curvature is torii-sori has a deep groove (kesso) on both sides of the shinogi up to the wide kissaki. Excellent polishing with presence of Nie and Nioi. ko-mokume, nashi-ji, o-notare. Saki-haba 2.9 cm, Moto-haba 3.1 cm. The nakago is cut with 3 mekugi-ana. Gilded copper habaki. Certificate of the NBTHK (Nihon BijutsuToken Hozon Kyokai) dated 24 year of the Heisei era (01/27/2013).
