Japanese Gold Lacquer Box (kobako)
Of four-lobed form, the top of the lid features a decoration of pavilions in a mountain and lake landscape. Inside, a small cup decorated with asagao on a black ro-iro lacquer background and a gold hira and taka maki-e border. Some light wear. The inside of the box is in nashiji.
