Featuring a black patina and depicted in a stalking pose—ready to pounce on its prey—the figure rests on a finely chased bronze branch. The piece is remarkably realistic. It is a unique work commissioned for a private mansion in Nantes. Although unsigned, it dates to the early 20th century and is in the style of Georges Lucien Guyot (1885–1973).
