Louis-Théophile Hingre is a sculptor modeler, medal engraver, born November 19, 1832 in Écouen (Val-d'Oise) where he died November 12, 1911. Famous animal sculptor, he was a student of Henri Louis Gervais and Adrien Possot. He exhibited successfully at the Salon des Artistes français in Paris from 1880 to 1910.
