Tapis Persan Baluch, Première Moitié Du XXe Siècle
Persian rug likely of Baluch origin, hand-knotted in the early 20th century (1930s–1950s), from the eastern region of Iran, near the Afghan border. Medium-small in size (180 x 96 cm), it features a geometric decoration on a dark red and brown background, enriched with stylized floral motifs and central medallions. The warm tones, with white, orange, and green details, are typical of this tribal tradition.
Made of wool, with both warp and weft in wool, it is in good overall condition; only one lower edge shows minor wear, easily restorable. This is an authentic piece with a sober yet vibrant aesthetic, perfect for both classic and modern interiors.
