Louis XVI Marquetry Secretary, Flap, Interior Drawers, Restored Marble
Very pretty and small Louis XVI period lady's secretary with flap in rosewood, rosewood and amaranth wood with coffered decorations on the side parts and inlaid decorations on the front of floral vases and volutes.
It has a drawer on the front and a flap revealing four oak compartments as well as four small inlaid drawers with gilt bronze lentil knobs.
Lower section with two doors revealing three oak compartments. Period lock and key, lock escutcheon and handles in gilt bronze from the same era. Top in restored veined brown marble.
