An exceptional pair of large-scale antique six-light candelabra, masterfully crafted in France, 19th century. These prestigious decorative fixtures are entirely made of finely chased gilt-bronze (ormolu) displaying superior craftsmanship.
- The Candle Arms: A central shaft from which rise five sinuous arms shaped like flourishing plant tendrils and dynamic acanthus volutes, topped by a sixth, raised central light. Each arm ends in finials and lampshade holders richly carved with floral motifs.
- The Shaft: A vertical column with helical fluting and geometric bands in relief that accentuate the verticality of the entire piece.
- The Base: Rests on a substantial tripod base richly adorned with foliage scrolls, characterized by remarkable sculpted feet in the form of stylized dragons or chimeras, providing perfect stability.
