Mahogany Secretary, Louis XVI Period
Elegant mahogany and mahogany veneer drop front desk, opening with a drawer above a flap revealing niches and six small drawers, the top covered with fawn leather, and two doors in the lower part, the front uprights rounded, the rear ones in pilasters, fluted and finished with tapered legs (small restorations, slight alterations on the sides).
White marble top surrounded by a gallery of openwork gilded brass.
