Elegant display case-library in marquetry of violet wood veneer with diamond point decoration, opening with a drawer above two openwork doors with geometric patterns covered with wire mesh, presenting two shelves and standing on a hollowed-out plinth base (minor accidents and restorations of use, the lock replaced).
Stamped "FL" for François Lieutaud (1665-1748), master cabinetmaker in Paris.
