"A French Regence Gilt-bronze Mounted Tulipwood Venereed Cupboard , Circa 1725."
Bookcase from the Regency period (circa 1725) in rosewood and violet wood veneer. Beautiful gilded bronze ornamentation. Large cornice decorated with a frieze of gadroons, opening with two crosspiece doors, the lower part decorated with a mask of Bacchus. H x W x D = 231 x 161 x 48cm The price of this bookcase includes its delivery in France and its perfect restoration in our workshop (by our EPV artisan, Entreprise Patrimoine Vivant, therefore very skilled).
Today the piece of furniture is in good general condition, despite the usual cracks and dents due to use and time. The structure is stable and there is a slight detachment and chips in the lower left part of the front.
The somewhat tarnished bronzes will regain all their shine once the piece of furniture has passed through the expert hands of our cabinetmaker. Don't worry...
