Office Cylinder Marquetry
19th century cylinder desk in Louis XVI style marquetry, rich gilt bronze ornamentation including a magnificent medallion on the cylinder representing birds, a quiver and floral motifs. The upper part is covered with a marble top with its openwork bronze gallery. Three drawers in belt. When the desk is open we discover three other drawers and a retractable writing tablet which measures 1.11 m long and 0.41 m wide; this tablet is upholstered in green leather. DIMENSIONS: 1.13 m high, 1.30 m long and 0.58 m wide.
