Neoclassical Sideboard

Neoclassical style sideboard in amboyna burl, opening with two doors and revealing around fifteen mahogany drawers with bronze knobs and handles. The drawer fronts tilt onto the nine drawers in the upper part, the six large drawers at the bottom can accommodate file storage. All the drawers operate very easily thanks to casters. This piece of furniture features a fresco on ebony depicting charioteers and their Roman chariots and a central decoration in a medallion with a cherub playing the flute.
The column uprights are decorated with gilded bronze women's heads. The top is made of green marble. This sideboard is of very high quality cabinetmaking.
