OFFICER'S PISTOL, model 1816 converted to percussion, Restoration - July Monarchy. 30178 Officer's pistol, model 1816. Barrel with five short then round sides, length 19.9 cm, length with the breech tang 24.5 cm. Flintlock converted to percussion from the Manufacture de Charleville. Bronze fittings, smooth cap, checkered iron underguard. Sloping walnut stock with finely checkered grip. Iron ramrod. Total length of the pistol 34 cm. France. Restoration - July Monarchy. Fairly good condition, oxidation on the metal parts, some wear on the stock.
