Pair of flintlock officer's pistols signed "Manufacture Royale de St Etienne". Walnut stocks, partially checkered. Blued, rifled barrels, flared towards the muzzle, with dovetailed front sights, decorated with gold fillets and palmettes at the blued ends, stamped "LB" and the St Etienne mark. Stamped "Beraud" under the barrels. Beraud Louis, gunsmith in St Etienne around 1804. All screw heads are guilloché. Iron furniture, cut and mottled. Iron ramrod. Restoration period: around 1815. Condition: Good (retouched bluing, minor pitting, wear to one of the barrels). Overall length: 34 cm and 33.6 cm. Barrel length: 19.4 cm. Muzzle diameter: 1.73 cm.
