FLAG PIKE OF THE NATIONAL GUARD, July Monarchy. 28833 Exemplar in embossed brass in two parts welded back to back to obtain the round boss patterns. H 51.5 cm. It represents a pike in the shape of an openwork point of the Gallic rooster placed on a flaming torch holding in its talons the terrestrial globe stamped with the inscription "LIBERTE" (front side) and "ORDRE PUBLIC" (back side), H of the pike 29.5 cm. France. July Monarchy. Good condition but incomplete with the large oak and laurel crown which was present at the base of the pole.
