Rare early 18th century Parisian Wine Taster in solid silver, plain model with shell shaped thumb rest. Border engraved “PERRON BESLEU”. Hallmark of Charge (A on the crowned side) and Discharge (crowned merlette) for PARIS 1726-32, Hallmark of Jurande for PARIS 1731 (date letter "P" Crowned) and Hallmarks (3 times: body, thumb rest and handle) from the Master Goldsmith Simon CHERET (Hallmark with the initials "SC" and a holy spirit) received in 1716. This rare Parisian wine taster from early in the 18th century is in very good condition and remarkably hallmarked, beautiful size with its +100g / period, micro-scratches of use.
