Important three-legged chocolate pot from Lille, made of solid silver from the Louis XV period, featuring a pinched-ribbed design. The fretwork depicts a blooming flower resting on a platform that tilts to accommodate a strainer. Side handle made of turned wood. Hallmark for LILLE, Guild hallmarks (for large and small pieces) for LILLE 1768–69, and hallmarks (body, lid, and each foot) of Master Goldsmith Michel-Joseph HONOREZ, admitted in 1732.
