Watercolor signed by Edmond Lajoux, lower left. It is dedicated: “To Lieutenant Willing with my best memories”.It represents different outfits worn by Dragons and Horse Hunters. At the bottom right is the sketch of a dragon harnessing his horse.
This interesting study is presented in a black "baguette" frame outlined in gold with a mat.
Edmond Lajoux: born February 26, 1890 in Charenton-le-Pont, † July 10, 1960 in Montpellier; painter, man of letters, painter of the regiments of hunters and painter to the armies.
