Curious pair of clogs with heels, carved in relief wood on the top with eagles, heads facing right, on a spindle. One bears an old handwritten label under the sole: "Pair of clogs made by a grenadier of the Old Guard and intended for the Emperor."
Very good condition. Early 19th century.
