Box. Combat On The Butte Chaumont
Round compressed boxwood box, (circa 1830) illustrated with a scene from the Battle of Paris in 1814. The legend "battle of March 30 on the Butte Chaumont" appears on the bottom of the lid. This defeat of the imperial year ended the reign of Napoleon 1st.
