Pair Of Patinated Bronze Bedside Lamps—empire Style Reinterpreted In The Art Deco Style, Circa 1940–1950
An elegant pair of solid bronze table lamps, likely made in the 1940s or 1950s, featuring a more streamlined interpretation of the Empire-style candelabra, reminiscent of the Art Deco aesthetic.
The shafts feature deep fluting, topped by an ornamental frieze reminiscent of Louis XVI and Empire-style pieces. They rest on wide, molded circular bases, adorned with radiating godrons and a frieze of stylized water leaves.
The bronze elements have retained their original patina and finish, displaying a beautiful golden honey hue, accented by darker areas that highlight the relief of the chiseled details.
The set is topped with two contemporary pleated lampshades made of ecru satin with golden highlights, whose warm lighting particularly accentuates the nuances of the bronze pieces.
The electrical wiring has been completely refurbished in our workshop. Both lamps are equipped with LED lighting and are ready to install and use.
Total height with lampshades: 35.5 cm.
Sold as a pair.
A pair of lamps with harmonious proportions, combining the elegance of antique candlesticks with the understated style of mid-20th-century designs. Ideal for a console table, two nightstands, or a desk.
