White Porcelain Lamp With Green Floral Decoration And A Gilded Bronze Frame – Circa 1910–1930
An elegant table lamp dating from the first third of the 20th century, circa 1910–1930, combining the delicacy of decorated porcelain with a gilded bronze frame.
It features a vase-shaped porcelain body with harmonious proportions, whose particularly brilliant white background is enhanced by a delicate decoration of foliage and small flowers in shades of green.
The delicacy of the decoration, its subtlety, and the quality of its execution evoke the aesthetic of the small decorative vases produced by the major porcelain manufacturers of that era.
The porcelain is set within an elegant gilded bronze frame, resting on a circular, molded base. The upper portion is also adorned with a gilded bronze element featuring a foliage motif, providing a beautiful finishing touch to the entire piece.
The lamp is topped with a contemporary pleated shade made of ecru satin with golden highlights. Its warm glow accentuates the whiteness of the porcelain and delicately highlights its botanical design.
The electrical wiring has been completely redone. The lamp is in perfect working order, ready to be installed and used.
Total height: 30.5 cm.
A refined decorative lamp whose elegance lies in the simplicity of its design, the luminosity of its porcelain, and the contrast with the gilded bronze. Its proportions allow it to fit naturally on a console table, a nightstand, or a small side table.
