Bedside & Mood Lamp, Cherub (putto) In Gilded Regula, Crystal Pendants - 40's

Small lamp from the '40s, both decorative and full of softness, ideal as bedside or mood lighting.

The gilded regule base features a cherub (putto) in an elegant posture, supporting the light with lightness. The base, with its finely-worked plant motifs, provides a beautiful foundation to the whole.

The light comes to life in a crystal wick adorned with palmette-shaped pendants, which subtly catch the reflections. A small central column supports the lampholder, discreetly integrated into the composition.

The lampshade is made of anodized aluminium.

The lampshade is new, made of wire stretched over a lightly mordanted background. It diffuses a warm, enveloping light, perfectly in keeping with the spirit of the piece.

The set has been completely re-electrified to new in the workshop (cable, socket, switch), for immediate use in complete safety.
