Porcelain Lamp With Floral Decoration, Orange Background – Art Nouveau/art Deco Transition Period, Circa 1920
An elegant vintage table lamp, circa 1920, reflecting the transition between the Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles.
It features a porcelain body shaped like a vase with a long neck and rounded belly, set against a luminous orange background and adorned with a stylized floral motif of green foliage and flowers in shades of purple and lavender, accented with black.
Its slender silhouette retains the influence of Art Nouveau designs, while the vivid colors and geometric composition of its decoration fully foreshadow the Art Deco aesthetic.
The porcelain is set in its original brass frame, resting on a molded base decorated with foliage.
The lamp is topped with a contemporary pleated shade made of golden-beige satin fabric, whose warm light beautifully highlights the porcelain’s vibrant colors.
The lamp has been fully rewired to current standards and equipped with LED lighting. It is in perfect working order, ready to install and use.
The porcelain is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips.
Total height: 31 cm.
A charming decorative lamp with particularly elegant proportions, representative of this pivotal period between Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Its sun-kissed color scheme will add a warm and unique touch to a console table, a small side table, or an accent piece.
