Encrier Porte-plume Napoléon III En émaux Cloisonnés, Champlevés - XIXe Siècle Gilt Bronze.
Charming Napoleon III-period penholder, made in the 19th century in a very fine work of cloisonné and champlevé enamels on gilded metal.
The piece features an elegant movement form with orientalist inspirations, typical of the taste for the Far East and enameled decorative arts that particularly appealed to the second half of the 19th century. The particularly refined decoration blends foliage, stylized flowers and polychrome reserves in a rich palette of blues, whites, pinks, greens and golds.
.The set includes a covered central reservoir for ink, and a penholder holder arranged on the front. The quality of the decoration and the finesse of the enamels make this a fine decorative desk object as much as a testament to Napoleon III's decorative taste.

The object is presented in a beautiful state of preservation with a pleasant patina of age. A few slight traces of use consistent with the period can be observed, without detracting from the overall quality of presentation.
