Porcelain Lamp With A Floral Design On A Pink Background, Art Nouveau/art Deco Transition Period, Circa 1920
An elegant vintage table lamp, circa 1920, reflecting the transition between the Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles.
It features a porcelain body shaped like a vase with a long neck and rounded belly, set against a cloud-like background in shades of pink, adorned with a stylized floral design featuring green foliage and yellow motifs outlined in black.
Its slender silhouette retains the influence of Art Nouveau designs, while the more geometric composition of its decoration foreshadows the Art Deco aesthetic.
The porcelain is set in its original brass frame, resting on a molded base decorated with foliage.
The lamp is topped with a contemporary pleated lampshade made of golden-beige satin fabric, whose warm light beautifully highlights the porcelain’s hues and design.
The lamp has been fully rewired to current standards and equipped with LED lighting. It is in perfect working order, ready to install and use.
The porcelain is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips.
Total height: 31 cm.
A charming decorative lamp with particularly elegant proportions, representative of that pivotal period between Art Nouveau and Art Deco. It will naturally find its place on a console table, a small table, or an accent piece.
