Pair Of 19th-century Bronze Lamps – Torches With Lions And Eagle Talons, Cabinet Of Curiosities

A unique pair of table lamps in the style of cabinets of curiosities, crafted from two 19th-century bronze torches, reminiscent of the works of Ferdinand Barbedienne, with no signature or definite attribution.

The torches rest on three finely chiseled legs shaped like eagle’s talons. The central shaft is adorned with three lion heads holding chains arranged in festoons. The upper section takes the form of an antique oil lamp, embellished with three small stylized flames.

These high-quality bronze pieces are topped with two spectacular feather lampshades in shades of brown and copper, lending the ensemble a unique character that is particularly representative of the cabinet of curiosities aesthetic.

The electrical work was completed entirely in our workshop, without any drilling or modification of the antique bronze pieces. The assembly is reversible, allowing the lamps to be restored to their original function as candle holders.

Equipped with LED lighting, these lamps emit a warm, soft glow. They are ready to set up and use as living room, bedside, or desk lamps.

Total height with lampshade: 46 cm.

Sold as a pair.

An original combination of antique bronze pieces and feather lampshades, ideal for enthusiasts of cabinets of curiosities and unique decor.
