Art Deco Modernist Night Light, Shell-shaped Glass With Fins, 1930s

Rare shell-shaped nightlight with thick glass fins. The beveled fins are made of solid glass. The salmon-colored shell is in deep relief, creating a splendid contrast between the matte sandblasted glass and the glossy polished edges of the fins. Hand-forged iron base. Very attractive size. Circa 1930. Both the glass and the base are of very fine craftsmanship. Dimensions: Height: 23.5 cm Width: 17.5 cm Very good condition. Some wear to the fabric covering of the cord.
