Known for having devoted most of his life to comedy and vaudeville, Marco Behar then continued his acting career for nearly 30 years as a member of the Comédie-Française. In the late 1940s, he began to take up painting, displaying undeniable talent. He painted with great vibrancy, both in his brushstrokes and his use of color, depicting urban landscapes, Paris and its surroundings, as well as magnificent natural landscapes (such as Gavarnie or Moustiers-Sainte-Marie). Provenance: from his studio collection, which contained the bulk of his work and was dispersed 20 years ago. Please note that I respond to all inquiries about my items.
