Canton Chinese Porcelain Covered Dish 乾隆年製
Rare covered dish in Chinese porcelain, Canton work, entirely and richly enameled with roses, fruits and plants, butterflies, multicolored birds, all with numerous gold highlights. Gilded border around the dish. Lid and base with 4 reserves.
The almond-shaped lid grip enamelled with a gilded star.
Very fine polychromy and quality workmanship.
Signature in kanji 乾隆年製 under the base literally meaning "Made during the reign of Qianlong". Probably of later date.

23, 5 cm x 19, 5 cm and 13, 5 cm high approximately
Weight: 1, 650 Kg
Very good condition. Minimal wear.
