An elegant bronze sculpture depicting a female torso with supple, natural curves, resting on a rectangular pedestal. The bronze features a beautiful dark brown patina with subtle green hues. Weighing 2,316 g, it has a pleasing presence.
The base bears the signature “L. ALLIOT” and the stamp “BRONZE.” This signature refers to the French sculptor Lucien Charles Édouard Alliot (1877–1967). The absence of the head and arms is an intentional design feature of this sculpture.
