A beautiful porcelain clock shaped like a vase. Blue-and-gold decoration. On the back, a design depicting a lyre. The clock rests on four claw feet.
The dial is made of enamel and gilded bronze, featuring a ring of enamel with Roman numerals for the hours and a railway-track minute scale. The hands are Bréguet-style steel. Round de Paris movement with chime striking the hours and half-hours on a bell via a clapper. Wire suspension. The mechanism will be serviced prior to sale (disassembly, adjustment of wear-related clearances, cleaning, reassembly, oiling, and regulation). Includes key and balance wheel. Weekly winding.
