Made in Paris, early 19th century.
Enamel dial with Arabic numerals for the hours and quarters, signed “Charles” in Paris
Front-winding movement visible through the dial, verge escapement with vertical balance wheel,
Balance wheel suspended by a wire.
This movement is housed in a bronze case with two glazed side openings.
On the case’s top, four small turned bronze finials, plus one on the bronze arching.
At the base, four turned bronze spindle-shaped feet.
The brass rear door opens to provide access for adjustments.

Minor imperfections on the enameled dial.
