Antique Murano Millefiori Two-handled Bowl – Attributed To Fratelli Toso, Circa 1900–1925
A particularly attractive antique Murano glass bowl, made using the traditional millefiori or murrine technique. The glass is composed of numerous flower-shaped murrines in blue, green and white, beautifully distributed across the entire surface.
The bowl is decorated on both sides with large, elegantly curled handles made of striped filigree glass in matching colours. Its lightly frosted, opalescent appearance and characteristic design correspond closely with early glassware produced by the renowned Murano glassworks Fratelli Toso.
The bowl was probably made between 1900 and 1925. As it is unsigned, it is carefully attributed to Fratelli Toso.
A highly decorative collector’s piece for lovers of early Murano glass and antique millefiori.
