"Antique German Erhard & Söhne Filigree Gilt Brass Jewelry Box"
A true work of art, this jewelry box made by the German company Erhard & Söhne circa 1920. The lid is richly ornamented and all the corners are finely decorated. Superb filigree work made from brass wire meticulously assembled on a wooden box. The metal corners are also very well integrated. The front lock is a centerpiece, still accompanied by its original Erhard & Söhne signed key. Upon opening the box, one discovers a beautifully lined interior of blue velvet. The lid is held open by two small metal arms. Four small metal decorations also adorn the interior. The whole thing rests on four small wooden feet that enhance the appearance of the box. Used but in excellent condition.
