A Set Consisting Of A Bottle And An Albarello Made Of Venetian Majolica, 18th Century

A rare pair of 18th-century Venetian majolica pharmacy vessels, consisting of a bottle and an albarello, both decorated in monochrome blue on a white background with elegant plant motifs and cartouches bearing ancient pharmaceutical inscriptions.

The bottle features a cartouche with the inscription "Flor. Samb...", while the albarello bears the inscription "Pulb. Chim...", evidence of their original use in an apothecary. The harmonious forms and refined decoration make this set an interesting example of 18th-century Venetian ceramic production.

The pieces are in good condition with normal signs of wear, consistent with their age.
