18th-century Drawer Front
Oak drawer front. It features a foliage motif framed by two mythical creatures.The identical animals on both sides are horses with long, flowing manes and winged bodies ending in the tail of a scaly sea monster. The relief is quite pronounced on a slightly domed background. Significant traces of polychromy remain. One of the corners was previously reattached.
