17th-century Chest Lock
Antique chest lock with a bolt mechanism. This lock is complete and features its mechanism, cold-riveted to the strike plate, and designed to be recessed into a cabinet stanchion. The visible part is made of hammered iron, pierced and cut with motifs popular during the reign of Louis XIV.
