Wrought-iron Grille
A wrought-iron, riveted grille designed to be mounted on a door, window, or shutter. It was intended to hold firmly in place by inserting the ends of two bars through a door, for example, and bending them back to prevent them from being torn off. The ends on the other two sides were flattened and re-drilled to accommodate screws or nails.
