17th Carved Wood Panel
Carved and pyrographed wood panel representing many characters in procession (we identify in particular Hermès) and animals (rabbit, dog, birds, lion…). The female figure in the center is seated on a throne surrounded by two eagles, above is the date 1683. A technique of sand-burnished wood bringing a notion of perspective to the scene.
