Oval metal reliquary containing a relic identified by the handwritten inscription “Ex Spina D.N.” (Ex Spina Domini Nostri), designating a Holy Thorn from the Crown of Thorns of Christ.
Presented on a red silk background with gold leaf accents, under glass.
On the reverse, an intact ecclesiastical wax seal and original silk threads.

Condition:

Good condition; seal intact; signs of wear consistent with its age.

In accordance with canon law (can. 1190 §1), this sale concerns only the reliquary as an object of sacred art. The relics it contains are not part of the transaction but are included as a courtesy due to their historical and cultural value.
