Votive bust in modeled and polychrome terracotta, representing a bearded saint or apostle, his gaze turned upwards in an attitude of spiritual elevation. The expressiveness of the face, the carefully painted eyes and the wavy hair testify to the quality of execution and the devotional function of this piece.
Work originally conceived as a free-standing bust, probably intended for a small domestic altar or a private oratory.
Remains of original polychromy visible, turned wooden base (posterior).
