• Work: life-size study of a male nude, done in pencil and charcoal on ivory paper.
• Subject: standing figure, legs apart, arms slightly apart, head turned to the side.
The anatomical rendering is very detailed: definition of muscles, natural volumes, nervous posture.
• Signature: bottom left, “R. Verdu.” (or “R. Vercru[u?]”, the writing is partially erased).

Dimensions & framing:
• Dimensions with frame: 70 cm × 53 cm.
• Frame: gilded oak, ecru mat. Protected glass.

Condition:

good general condition; the wood has some missing gilding, the glass has some micro-scratches, the paper is sound.
