Perfume Flask Case (?) In Wrought Iron - 17th Century
Slightly flared oblong shape in wrought iron.
Each side is chisel-engraved with a high-quality floral decoration.
A push-button opens the hinged lid.
This would have been a case intented to hold a perfume flask, according to the description of a similar example preserved in the Musée Le Secq Des Tournelles.
Very good overall condition, wear from use.
