Superb Caucasian rug originating from Azerbaijan. Woven and knotted wool on wool using traditional methods. The beautiful, rather short pile of wool is silky, ideal for adding depth and luminosity. The delicate harmony of the vegetal hues offers a lovely softness to the eye. The two large medallions in the central field provide perfect balance, surrounded by floral borders.
